Played many hours over enough years to feel the ups and downs and as of writing this there are a few things you should consider.
Gaijin is a shop based game and due to the amount of effort, hours and frustration you will put in to get anywhere you will more then likely sooner or later be staring at that juicy premium vehicle and pick one up. This game is stupendously grind heavy. As well often the best vehicles are premium although most are honestly useless or just funny like a low tier rocket launching tank.
This game is not for people who expect to play casually and get anywhere it takes people years to unlock everything not counting premium vehicles. The silver you get that you essentially use for loadouts and respawns is incredibly low and in higher tiers punishes bad players by making them go in debt essentially… you could pay cash to get more silver lions…
The only neutral opinion i can give is for VR players as personally despite typically being a unpleasant experience it adds a bit of fun from the often mundane bashings you may receive.
Anything above tier 5-6 if i remember in the pve mode will force you into battles with all tiers to the top so you basically become fodder.
They often only add more premium vehicles then new maps or refinement of other things but when they do it usually turns quicker into a downward spiral.
If you like a gaijin choking you ever harder for profits without giving you much back if not more frustration then i’d suggest this game.
Sure the game has “issues” but it still can be enjoyable as that grip has tightened over the years i find myself playing less and less.
Everything in this game begs you to pay and then they just squeeze more. Eventually it’ll be squeezed dead. No online game lives forever…
