I just finished reading this novel I am very Happy to know that lily stood up for herself but what she missed is even she is at fault as well, because if a person truly loves someone so much as(lily mentioned that she love ryle) she would never get her first love in between no matter how special it was and she would have be more honest with Ryle after knowing everything about Ryle. I thought I would really love this novel but I am actually disappointed with lily and I just hope she realizes her fault as well. And stop comparing yourself relationship(with Ryle) with your mother's relationship with your father because it's completely different. I feel truly sorry for Lily's Mother. I wish everyone could just be Honest with the loved ones Instead of holding on to the past and blaming and hurting the person who is willing to do anything for you. I am sorry Lily but I feel more sorry for Ryle than you.
