I normally don't give out reviews for Kdramas, but I watched Bon Appétit, Your Majesty TWICE. *Semi-Spoilers Ahead* I just finished watching Scarlett Heart a week before watching BAYM and needless to say, this drama has healed most of my k-trauma; and when I say k-trauma I mean from all the heart aching, open ended, I'm going to find you in the other realm/lifetime kdrama endings that I've come across. Do I think this could have spread out into 16 episodes? Yes. Do I think the competition between the Ming could have been shortened? Of course. Were there moments where I was talking to the screen questioning why FL just stood there doing nothing when the King was fighting for her? Most definitely. I really wish we had more scenes with the FL and ML after they both resolved their feelings for eachother. The build up to their love for eachother was slow which made it so bitter sweet, but their chemistry on screen was undeniable. You know what I also appreciated? No love triangle which means no second male lead syndrome!! There was not a single boring episode in this drama. This is one of those k-dramas where I can confidently say that I don't need a second season. Casting was brilliant all around and the short storyline was heart throbbing.
