The overall gameplay mechanics and story are well put together. But if you were expecting a long story mode for this particular game, you'd be mistaken. This is my 1st MH game ever, I managed to beat the main story but that's it. Literally, everything else afterwards is just side quests and leveling to get new weapons and armor. I'm glad I didn't pay out of pocket and took the safest route and traded in some games for this one but that's the jist. If you want a long and detailed story mode, you won't be getting it from this game.
