It's intense and creepy. It's that real-life believable type of horror where an awkward geek is perceived as a threat, but as seen from both sides is simply misunderstood. Final conflict occurs when the couple attempt to resolve the breakup and he pleads his case forcefully against her wishes to run ending in an epic violent scene.

I had no expectations going into the theater regarding Heretic. I left feeling highly entertained and extremely impressed with the dramatic intensity and quality of Hugh Grant's acting role. A psychological thriller on par with Saw. Very well done

Good tight plot and fairly rapid pace. Very well casted and authentic to the chosen location.
