Blink Twice falls into my favourite genre: female rage. Channing Tatum usual charming self is present with a sinister undertone while Naomi Ackie perfectly takes the audience through the rollercoaster of bliss, confusion and horror as she experiences it. Fantastic watch.

Absolute masterpiece. I don’t understand how this movie is not rated more highly.

The bathtub, the vampire, the grave, wowee indeed. Superb acting, stunning visuals, original and wonderfully weird plot.

This movie saw John Woo use every cinematography cliche known to man. The complete lack of dialogue could have created a unique and interesting film had there been a plot with any depth or characters with substance. I love Joel Kinneman but throughout this movie I envied the position of his characters murdered son because at least he didn’t have to see this movie. The movie took itself so seriously it felt comical and I found myself laughing throughout at the bizarreness of some scenes. The action and fight scenes were well choreographed and did manage to build suspense and tension but that’s the only positive note. I went hoping for a Christmas John Wick or 2023 Die Hard but it was definitely not that. If you are desperate to see it, wait till it comes to a streaming platform, cinema not necessary.
