Very shallow film. There isn’t the same depth to characters like in the original. It’s hard to empathize with the characters let alone believe that what they try to portrait in the remake is love. Each to their own but the entire connection itself even feels shallow. If you have nothing better to watch, watch it. But it can’t compare to the original. The one thing I enjoyed was the camera work. There were some beautiful shots. That’s that.
