The scenery and filming were excellent. I love movies about horses because they are usually good. I would absolutely not recommend this for small children because of the fights among the horses who are leaders of a herd. I don't want to give away the plot at all but it is based on books by Elyne Mitchell. Russel Crowe was very good in this as well as Caroline Goodall. By all means watch it if you are not sensitive to the true life of wild horses.
