Trying to find the right words to describe my thoughts on this show until the comment about Tom Selleck as Jesse Stone. Bingo. That's why I don't like the lead in this show, he is a good detective, but his sadness overwhelms him. So moody. My husband and I fine this show slow and hard to understand. I find it depressing, just like the Jesse Stone movies. My new show best pick is High Potential. She is a combo of Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes, William Powell as the Thin Man and Monk. Rest of the cast is also good.
