Extraordinarily reenacted drama about the starving children in war torn Naples who in 1944 were sent by train to rural families in northern Italy’s Modena. The local Communist party of Italy organized the transports to keep children fed and safe until the war’s end. It’s a beautiful story of love and sacrifice.
