I am so embarrassed for every single actor who participated in this horrendous show. What a ridiculously lazy script this was. Every single person in this show is a psycho. The main "villainess" was so poorly written that there was absolutely no tension in the reveal, she was horrible from the beginning, she only ended up being more cartoonishly evil by the end. I still don't know why she did what she did in the first half of the show. I don't consider this a spoiler because as soon as you see the first episode it's obvious what her character is like, there are no red herrings or subtlety to speak of. Every character is a caricature in addition to there being no sound logical plot or characterization. What a waste for actors such as Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano, especially Luke Wilson. Waste of time and brain cells.

This is a very, very boring movie with very, very uninteresting characters and a very, very mediocre plot. There is a lot of product placement, though, which is kind of why I think this movie is made—because there is zero substance.

I can't begin to describe how cringe this movie is. If someone had told me ten years ago that I would see Russel Crowe in this kind of D-level quality movie, I would never have believed it.

What a weird movie!!! Let me just make one thing clear: This is NOT a romantic comedy! It becomes very obvious around the first third of the movie that this is a very dark script. I can't say anything much without spoiling the surprise at the end of the movie, but all I can say is that this movie isn't the genre you think it is. The ending subverts expectations completely and while it might work for many people, it left me feeling very weirded out and underwhelmed. I don't like the irresponsible way it portrays mental health, is all I can say without spoiling anything. I think it's kinda irresponsible how this film deals with some very important issues, it just sort of makes them banal. The writing at times is really cringe, and the dark comedy parts are interesting but don't add well with the two other genres the movie is trying to juggle. This film is basically three films in one, and it all connects in the weirdest way I have seen in a while. I would not recommend this except maybe to a very specific group of people who think that cringey romcom, dark comedy, and horror can be playfully merged into one to portray a very harmful message.

The Substance is a despicable movie. I can't believe I allowed myself to get talked into watching it. It is, at best, a B-type of body horror movie. It's insulting, demeaning, disgraceful, tacky. My God, it's so tacky. I wanna make myself unwatch it. Demi Moore has always been a controversial figure, and this movie fully brings back the memories of why she was controversial in the 80s and the 90s. If you have always approved of Demi Moore and you're into horror, even bad body horror, then you'd like this film. Otherwise, stay away for the sake of your self-respect.

Sigh. Well, I couldn't finish the movie. It was somewhat fun until the 58-minute mark when things became so horrible that I had to stop watching. The villain is awful and their motivation is even more terrible. I bought into the worldbuilding until the exposition about the villain. It's honestly so cringe when she possesses a minion on Aruba, the dialogue is very clanky it's unwatchable.

A very simple, yet very effective psychological thriller. I love Daisy Ridley's acting here, she really manages to draw the audience in. I feel like the movie ended just as things were getting good! It's a slow burn, but the tension definitely builds up. I love how this isn't a grand production, there are only 3 main charcaters and 2 supporting characters and it's a very small story, and yet it manages to convey the drama very nicely.

Dune part 2 is a bland cringefest of a movie. It's one of the worst movies I have ever seen. It's amazing how Dune part 1 made me care so much about the story and the characters, especially since I don't usually care for Herbert's work at all. And it's even more amazing how Dune part 2 made me NOT care AT ALL for this story or these characters. It's so bland and it's plagiarism! The story is a shameless rip off of Star Wars Prequels! Part 2 is no good, simply put, and I after seeing it in theaters, I want my money back. What a colossal waste of money and time. Edit to add: I am adding this to my review: It is very suspicious how many people/critics are pretending that this bland spit of a motion picture is some kind of masterpiece. For whatever reason Hollywood seems to be proping up this horrible excuse of cinema motion picture and YouTube critics that made their careers on being edge lords are dishonestly praising Dune part 2. All of this is very suspicious. I am not a fan of being gaslit when I speak the truth, and factually, this is, at best, a mediocre movie and the high reviews are untruthful and unwarranted.
