Night Country (season 4) is as good as the first season of True Detective. Jodie Foster and Lali Reisโ performances were impeccable, complemented by an amazing ensamble of supporting actors.
The landscape played a key role, too, becoming a relevant character itself, setting the mood and increasing the suspense.
On top of that, photography, sound and music were also top notch. My only complain is that the season could have benefited from at least one more episode, because I feel as if there was a rush to end the show in only six episodes.
I really hope thereโs another season with Jodie Foster in it, though I doubt it, given the anthology format of the show.
