It was worth waiting 18 years. The only difference is that people wanted that feeling of the beginning of a rage infection, instead, they got a story of the aftermath. Itโs really a phenomenal film, just a soft reboot and tonal shift compared to the others. The ending is weird though. Itโs like an MCU post credit.
