I just saw this last night and I watched it at a friend's house and it had a rating of a three but I told my friend to give it a chance and if we didn't like it we would just change it. Although it started off slow what he liked about the beginning was that it had a dreamlike quality where they were stuck in the mud and couldn't communicate with anyone because it was Budapest. As it progressed it picked up and had poor special effects and poor film quality but was 1973 after all. It had a lot of humor and social identity politics and ended with dark comedy. My friend said he would give it a four instead of a three and I would say four and a half to a five. If a remake came out I would watch it but probably won't at this point. Suspenseful and not overly gory. Loved the phone booth scene and the fight scene at the end. Haven't seen a movie I liked this much in a while.
