This was difficult to watch. A vengeful angry women who in an attempt to overturn the verdict of a lawsuit , and steal some more of Mishas money, comes up with the most ridiculous "proofs" I've ever seen. It was painful the lack of knowledge about jews. Like the fact that DeWael is German in origin ( Alsation) and pronounced in German with a ...wait for it ..v sound, in other words Valle.( yes like in the French book). And these were the people she was given to, not her parents. Her genealogist? Seriously? Who bases her "evidence" on looking at a picture and " assuming" they look a certain way. Again too someone with zero knowledge of European history nor culture. And the stupid string on the tack? Didnt do much to convince me, just annoyed me even more.And then? The women who looks through records? Not one of the many many Shoa historians in every country that could validate the assumptions being made here( and there was a huge one) no. Just a women she found willing do so I assume for $. Who said she was jewish. Do you have any idea the level of anti semitism in France? Ask Charlie Hebdo. This women vould easily have had anti semetic motivations to simply tear down a jewish holocaust survivor. Ok dhe says she is, but could her story survive the publisists bs tear downs too? Doubtful.Anyone who has studied the Shoa knows that many jews Baptisted their kids converted and assimilated to survive( hundreds of years of program and anti semitism) for one, so that literally.means nothing. Many had no records at all and never found out what happened to their loved ones beyond a presumed location linked to one of many deportations or massacres. Shame on this women and that publisists, shame on them. They are despicable! Shame on them for further traumatizing and shaming a survivor of the holocaust.
