I don't know if Clair Danes was awarded an Oscar for this role but she certainly should have. Temple was definitely one of the more interesting women in our history.

I loved the energy and talent of all these young performers. It told a great story too, one that most people have never heard before. Watching this show is the only way I would ever revisit NYC of that era again.
