I kind of liked it? It felt like the message was a bit muddled and most of the characters didn't go past the surface level. There was some classic horror, and by far it's not the worst movie of the year, but I suggest you wait until it's on streaming.

I did not expect to love this show as much as I did!! Not only is the plot interesting, the character writing is some of the best I've ever seen. I can't say I dislike anyone in the main cast. With phenomenal performances by its star studded cast, I hope that this show stays around for a while. Yet another reason to meet the demands to end the writer's strike. I want to keep this show around!!!

This movie really made my year. With fantastic acting and amazing singing/choreography, there's not a dull moment. Though it's not like the original movie at all, it's because it has a new story to tell. I have a strong connection to the original book and movie, both having gotten me through my childhood. So I turned on this movie expecting to be disappointed, and I ended the movie crying tears of joy. It's a beautiful movie with a light and kind hearted message about choosing your family and taking control of your own destiny. The movie is stylized to recreate that childlike wonder of seeing something so spectacular for the first time, and though the choices are bold; they work. It's larger than life and beautifully done. My favorite movie of 2022 for sure.
