The movie Shakuntala Devi, albeit entertaining, angered me. Cinematically it has all the elements it needs to be called a nice movie. However, the purpose of a biopic is not to be a nice movie but to remember and respect the person it was made for. Adding lies and twisting facts only to make it entertaining, not only disrespects the absolute star and feminist icon she was, but also shows her in a negative light. Didn't like what they did to the life story of a person only to sell the movie. They focused and over-exaggerated all the wrong aspects.
