I read this book when it was first published after the death of my oldest daughter. The book so moved me on Didion’s ability to put my own emotions into words that I wrote her a word of thanks. She graciously replied and wrote of her daughters death after the publishing of the book. She was a brilliant and talented woman, wealth and fame aside, who put grief into words
