Sounds authentic to me. A lot of indie-rock sounds the same to me, as its not my favorite genre, but I'll venture to say this hits differently. It's all about the mood. Calming yet determined, somber yet uplifting? I think of them as music for Perseverance, helped me through listless high school bus rides and now through my mundane desk job.
