We deserved one more summer…
I’ve been with Belly, Conrad, and Jeremiah since I was 12 years old. This series has been a part of my life for over a decade, and finishing We'll Always Have Summer felt like saying goodbye to old friends—but not in the way I hoped.
Jenny Han gave us a whirlwind of emotions in this final installment: heartbreak, growth, and the messy reality of love. But as much as I appreciated the ending, I couldn’t help but feel like there was more story left to tell. So many threads were left dangling—Conrad’s letters, the wedding, Jeremiah’s healing, and how Belly truly found peace in her choice. I wanted to linger in their world just a little longer.
I wanted to see the quiet moments, the aftermath, the future. A fourth book could have given us that closure, that depth, that final summer we never got.
