I thoroughly enjoyed watching this series; it's truly enjoyable. I must commend the characters and the beautifully depicted landscapes.
However, I've noticed some individuals criticizing the series and giving it a one-star rating simply because it didn't align with their expectations. It's worth noting that the series includes a disclaimer at the very beginning, indicating that its narrative shouldn't be interpreted as universally agreed upon.
As a Muslim, I found that the story's narrative sometimes contradicts our beliefs, particularly in the portrayal of the character of Moses Peace be upon him. While it's acknowledged that Moses had moments of anger, it's important to emphasize that he always held immense respect for God and wouldn't behave disrespectfully.
Furthermore, the series effectively illustrates the challenges faced by the Children of Israel in following Moses despite the clear signs presented to them. As one theologian aptly put it, it's easy to judge their ingratitude from the comfort of our air-conditioned rooms.
One aspect that I felt was lacking in the series is the inclusion of certain events, such as the significance of the red heifer, among others. Despite this, I found the series to be emotionally engaging and thoroughly enjoyable.
