Repetitive sums it up, more like a war movie with nonstop violence. Initially interesting concepts but the stories have gone STALE and could have been told in 1/10th of the time without 90% of the violence and nonstop foul language. If that is truly how the Spanish military and Interpol work, it sure discouraged me from ever wanting to visit Spain. In summary, the main character wants to rob the central bank and the Bank of Spain and the general public eventually sides with the thieves when the public realizes how the government has lied to them about many things and tortured prisoners. It all evolves through dozens and dozens of love gone wrong, painful emotional childhood stories and flashbacks to help explain why the many thieves would each risk life and limb for money or false pride or allegiance to the "professor," gunfights between the military and hostages and thieves, kidnapping, extortion, backstabbing, captures, escapes, more captures, fist fights, violent beatings, executions, explosions, deaths, machine guns enough to fight world war 3, flamethrowers, blood everywhere, live delivery of a breach baby with no anesthesia, hostages performing life-saving surgery on one another, human limbs blown off, and too much of it. Yes, the main story has interesting elements... think of Oceans 11 on steroids with the added twist of government and banks lying and skimming funds off the casinos, with multiple agendas, and yes, that might be an entertaining film, but with the execution and blood, Money Heist is beyond exhausting. If you are truly interested in the storyline, watch a summary version or read the script. The additional violence in the film seemed like an effort at shock value for pure violence sake; wasn't necessary for the story. NOT for young people or sensitive adults. If you MUST watch, skip to part 5 episode 10 for the finale.
