The plot of this psychological thriller, based on the book of the same name by Harlan Coben, should make it difficult to get it wrong. Former Army Helicopter pilot Maya has lost her sister then her husband, in violent incidents, the latter she witnesses dying in person. She then sees her 'dead' husband Joe on a nanny-cam. Cue twists and turns galore. It's just a shame screenwriter Charlotte Coben has crafted some very annoying characters, particularly Maya who charges into every situation without thinking or diplomacy when it obvious she can trust no one, not least her manipulative mother-in-law played by Joanna Lumley. The ending is a relief.
