Wow was this bad. First off, who had the bright idea to make it into a musical. I don't mind musicals, but this is not that type of movie. And fine, if it was 100% going to be one, lean into it more. This was just singing, talking, singing more talking, it was such a mess. Besides that, let's talk about the beginning of the movie. That whole animation could have been removed, I get the point of it but really, that? The main thing that I hate about it, is that the beginning of the movie was so good. It had so much potential and I loved it. Then we got to the courtroom, I thought okay. This is interesting, then I just got so bored so fast. It turned into a musical comedy mess by the end of it. The whole gary scene where he started to speak in a southern accent and made fun of hist last name.. really. That was needed? To top it all off, we didn't care about Harley. We got she was there, but she wasn't important enough for us to care about. So what happens? Oh the only logical conclusion, the courtroom blows up. And then all that for nothing as he just gets killed by the end, negating the first movie, and saying that he's been fake all this time. It just pains me that this could have been good, HOW HARD IS IT TO WRITE A GOOD MOVIE? IF YOU DON'T HAVE A GOOD ENOUGH PLOT, DON'T MAKE IT! See it if you want to see it, it's your choice, but man was this rough.

One of the greatest superhero movies made. What it made it so good was the fact that it didn't feel like a superhero movie, but an actual movie. The editing, cinematography, score, acting, plot just blew me away. I honestly do not get the 1 star reviews on this, this blew my mind seeing this in theatres. The chase scene was so epic and the finale was breathtaking. I get the comment that it drags, but the problem is people are expecting a short and dumb superhero movie for those with low attention spans, this is a movie that stays with you and keeps you thinking about after you leave the theatre. If you're wondering whether to watch it, just sit down, grab some popcorn, and enjoy.
