The first episode was not bad -- the one take effect worked but it should have been left for episode one. I was invested in the characters and story for the first episode, but the remaining three were a total let down. The one take effect was more like a gimmick at this point, the plot was boring and I was fast forwarding a lot. Children of Men had long takes too but it worked much better... The good reviews are from people who are easily entertained and probably were impressed with the single take effect of the episodes. Bad story writing, boring dialogue but technically it was filmed ok
