Despite with all the one star reviews say I think this movie is amazing and as a part of the lgbtq+ community I do not find this offensive at all in fact I think it's helpful in a way I mean this 17yo boy is just figuring out his sexuality and he doesn't know if his family will support him and he has a hard time but they end up already figuring it out and the ending made me cry and every time I watch it it makes me cry over and over again but over all its and great but sad love story and I really hope they come out with a second one

This has been my comfort movie since I was 14 I first watched it with my step dad's girlfriend and I immediately fell in love with it and now I watch it every few months
