Gladiator 2 is not a good movie. "Are you not entertained ", well yeah I was a little bit, but it doesn't contain the emotion or depth of characters of the original. Bad (for this day and age) CGI monkey-dogs, a rhino riding Gladiator and sea battle in a flooded Colosseum full of sharks were among the things that had me questioning how such a good director could miss the mark by so much. The plot follows the first movies story way too closely, reeks of lazy writing and doesn't really build on from such a good foundation. The most enjoyable thing of the night was my bag of peanut M&M's .
