Extremely disturbing.
And very very depressing.
But it hurts me the most to think that a wonderful person could possibly be saved if some people had taken few extra steps.
I mean I will never really understand why the mother didn't try enough instead of just giving up on her missing child or why the friend didn't report to anyone after witnessing her getting raped on gunpoint.
It also haunts me to think that maybe Michael is out there somewhere being someone else's Sharon or maybe he lived 20 miserable years like his mother before he got dumped somwhere.I am sorry to put these terrible thoughts in others minds but then who knows?
The question remains...how many of us would want to walk that extra mile coming out of our comfort zone?
And how many would choose not to act against any untoward incident simply because we are(as Susan's friend would say) 'scared'?
