Lewis has a way of reasoning that appeals to me as both a thinker and a believer. His explanation of the Trinity in terms of lines, squares, and cubes is nothing short of brilliant. His discussion of God and Jesus as always existing together even though one begat the other is so simple that it pains me that I never thought of it in those terms before - like a writer creating a story, and the story always existing in the mind of the writer even before pen was put to page. I am ashamed that I waited this long in life to read this book but will keep it close from now on. Lewis's logic is so easy to follow and makes the realness of God seem obvious in a world that lately goes out of its way to deny Him. Worth every penny and then some.
