This is a story about humility and dignity surviving depths of alienation, suffering and deprivation, the cultural imperatives of the true artist, a story about morals, compassion and sheer grit! It is a movie about what it is to be truly human. One of the best films I’ve ever seen. Brody gave a performance of profound depth and believability. He deserved the Oscar, hands down.
