We absolutely loved the Fire and Ash storyline and the stunning visual effects. At first, we didn’t even realize it was in 3D—but experiencing it in Dolby 3D made it even better. Despite the 3-hour-and-15-minute runtime, the movie kept me fully engaged until the very end. The screenwriting is noticeably stronger than The Way of Water. Way to go, James!

The cinematography is outstanding, made even more impressive by the fact that most of the sets were built with minimal CGI. The songs are gorgeous, and both leads give Oscar-worthy performances. While the screenplay could be tightened, the film is definitely worth experiencing in a Dolby-equipped theater.
