Incredibly disturbing film. Tried to romanticise or downplay assault. Not sure how this delusional film ever made it through production. Main female character (not actual actress) is a loser, but not because of her appearance, it’s because of her disturbing behaviour. Her self pity party doesn’t give her the right to knowingly kiss (assault) or catfish someone that she knows would not consent if her true identity was revealed. She’s not hard done by, it’s a though pill to swallow but a lot of times in life people won’t be attracted to you because of your appearance and although it may not feel nice, they have every right. The fact that this film tries to push a narrative that she’s a victim is insane. Maybe people didn’t like her because she actually is a creep who has no respect towards others and literally assaulted someone. The only person in this film that actually was done dirty was the main male character, not sierra burgess. I never write reviews but this film was so dumb and creepy that I actually felt inclined to say something.
