The movie was awful, for so many reasons, however even the worst of movies have their moments. So I'll start with that. The beginning was phenomenal, there were some cool kill scenes and it was nice to see that Lori had moved on and tried to live a normal life mostly because she let her gaurd down which means the fight versus good and evil should have been easier to fit in... But that is it. That's all the praise this movie will get. How anyone would be satisfied with coming to see a Halloween movie and not get to watch Michael Myers go on a killing spree to get to Lori, is beyond me?! Furthermore a copycat killer would have been fine, if the writers didn't dance around the idea that this kid was Michael's Prodigy 🙄. One of the best things about Michael Myers is the unknown. Is he pure evil or is he just a man- loved that this franchise version danced with that a little more, but this movie made him weak and human like with the capability of transferring evil through his eyes, I think? The final show down should have brought fans rooting for both sides and I'm going to say it, in tears with either one or both falling to death. Instead you get a small battle and glimpse of their goodbyes. Honestly, the ending was probably only sad because they did Michael and Lori so wrong. They deserve a much better ending...
