Subjectively, Danny Boyle is well off form here. And Richard Curtis wants to have a real think about his oeuvre....I know he wants to make heartwarming films that have the feel-good factor, but this is just so predictable....and even mawkish.....it’s almost toe curling. Where are the glory days of Four Weddings, Richard ? You won’t hate it, but if you want something a wee bit more affecting than candy floss, this is not the film for you
