Okay, don’t get me wrong, this movie is beautifully developed and thought out. It shines a light on the sides of society that you choose to look past, but oh my Lord… If I had seen this movie a few years back, my animal loving heart would’ve broken in two. As a sensitive, yet mature thirteen year old, I can confidently say this movie is NOT suited for early teens. I consistently sobbed through this movie and I have never felt a greater amount of hatred towards a movie antagonist. Parents, proceed with caution. I would say without a doubt that this movie is meant for mature audiences only. No content warning for this is unacceptable. Clips from this movie would be flagged on Youtube.
