Jon's album *Ritual* is a transformative departure from his previous work. Unlike the standalone tracks of *Immunity* or *Singularity*, *Ritual* offers two expansive tracks, each split into three parts, that unfold like a journey through the depths of his artistry. This album, while a continuation of the introspective exploration found in *Music for Psychedelic Therapy*, delves into much rawer, sometimes darker, but ultimately inspiring terrain.
Jon's commitment is palpable—he’s given everything to these compositions, and the result is two of the most beautiful pieces of music I’ve encountered. The initial tension, built with such intensity, gradually dissolves into the serene calm of the final tracks, offering a profound sense of closure.
*Ritual* isn’t an album to compare with Jon's earlier works; it’s a mature, deeply resonant creation that speaks to his evolving vision and emotional depth.
A 9/10 for me—superb work, Jon.
