Burn this film in hell , this film single handedly is worse than any wrong turn film bar the original and any howling film bar the original , this film is the floor of movie , half of the film looks like it was shot on a green screen , the chemistry between the 2 main characters is horrible , the first film utilized its chemistry this one threw it out of the window , the one liners are horrible , they have a bullshit excuse to get the character to the town and FOR THE LOVE OF GOD the creeper isn't a slasher villain , he is a monster that feeds off of someone to replenish his body , and the entire '' the creeper is a legend '' goddam it do you think he's Bigfoot? The dialogue is HORRIBLE , this film barely has any kills or any gory kills , and the ending is so unsatisfying they just stab the creeper in the mouth and expect it even hurt him? That's like kicking Jason Vorhees and his eyes open before the credits and OF COURSE they can't milk this franchise further because they will get one sorry ass excuse to make a 5th film

Decent film with so MID kills , they use this trash slow-mo effect with a white screen for the first 2 kills , the characters were so generic , they fucked up the mystery aspect by not even showing his Pamela Vorhees so you don't even know her that well , to its credit , it has the kill count with some gory kills + decent cinematography , the final act is pretty good but that's really it about this film

I was expecting a horror classic but I wasn't really expecting a slow paced boring film , I don't need John carpenter showing me one setting for 10 seconds and showing a different one for the next 10 seconds , I respect this film a lot and I still got some entertainment out of it like the special effects are SO well done , the mystery aspect is pretty good making me question even Kurt Russel's character + this film has a decent kill count with gory kills , I like the ambiguous ending but other than that this film is a bore fest

Of Course no film in this franchise can ever match Halloween 1978 but tone wise , cinematography wise and overall this film is the closest to being like the original , they utilize the hospital setting very well , of course there is more gore and more kills overall which makes it a pretty fun watch , no film is perfect and this film certainly has its flaws such as , even though the mask is the same I don't really like it that much , Michael seems too robotic and like an NPC , Laurie was almost nonexistent for most of the film until the last 15 minutes but overall I like this film

The film was really good the jump scares , the story and the writing was done very well, the characters were likable and the dialogues were good the kills and the atmosphere of the movie was the highlight of the movie . A must watch .
