I donโt understand how you have three families on the show and yet the family of โColorโ were the only ones who:
1. Received the home missing an entire wall, front door, and windows.
2. They had one open room and the other home had walls that separated the sleeping quarters and an upstairs in the other home.
3. The land had more rocks than the Rocky Mountain, making it difficult to plow.
4. The garden was dead on arrival and the other families tomatoes and onions were beautiful.
5. Mr. Gilbert at the General store had a box ready for them and the other families had the option to pick their own groceries on the first visit.
How coincidental that this happened to the people of โColorโ?
How can you allow something so demeaning to be apart of this show? When are we as a people going to change and love one another and have a community with kindness and respect? The show needs to be directed in a different direction.
Also, Joe and Jason should have the option of going back and forth in doing the chores since they are both the head of the household. Jason should not have to be forced to do only domestic โwomanโs workโ or should I say play the woman role when clearly they are living as men and raising their boys as men.
I will continue to watch the show because Iโm interested in seeing the final outcome. Overall, I am happy with the experience that it is giving to all of the families, having quality family time, and having a break from the devices and social media. The teenagers can relate, appreciate, and have more confidence within themselves .
