I just finished watching Napoleon. I honestly found it insulting. It seemed like there was violence just for the sake of violence, bloodshed, just for the sake of bloodshed. Yes, it was a very bloody rain and yes, Napoleon thought he was omnipotent, but this was a total bastardization of history. I love a good sex scene in a movie. As a matter fact, I’m sometimes disappointed if there isn’t at least one good sex scene in movie. I thought the sex this movie portrayed was almost as insulting as the violence. They took too many parts of history scrambled it together, tried to make an omelette and serve it to the public. Very disappointing. Let me just add if this was meant to a comedy then I’d have to add a few stars!!!
