Objective worst way of ever possibly ending the Arkham series. Not only did this game act as the iconic Kevin Conroy's last performance as 'The Batman', but they unceremoniously killed him in a park bench. They stripped his character of anything that had flavor and made him go down as easily as every other character. This barely disguised live-service game has disgraced the very thing that made Rocksteady famous to begin with, and has thrown away one of the most beloved characters in all gaming. Nothing about this game is remotely worth playing or buying. The characters, despite having entirely different personalities and skillsets EACH play the exact same--not to mention how unendingly annoying they've made both Captain Boomerang and Harley--but they also locked the entire game behind mediocre movement and skills which offer nearly no enjoyment. Playing this game was a slog. A slog that would have at least been better had it not been the canonical sequel to the hit classic Arkham Knight. Unflavored, unpolished, passionless garbage is the best I can describe this game.
Suicide Squad CAN work. But not like this, and not by this developer--not unless some serious changes are made to the composition of the writing team.
Throughout the whole game it felt as though I was playing something written by people who not only hated Batman, but hated the Justice League.
