This book was part of my summer reading list, and I sort of enjoyed it. Positives: -Relatable to many teens especially to people who have parents who are immigrants from a foreign country. -It was interesting and entertaining (or at least for me) to read -Good for people who are looking to increase their vocabulary while reading. Negatives: -Many, and I mean MANY curse words in this book. -The main character Julia, is honestly really annoying to read about. She criticizes literally anyone who she doesn't like and in general I just don't like her personality. -I felt like the plot of the story was just a copy and paste of every other realistic fiction story. Overall: Only read this story if you enjoy realistic fiction books and are a teenager otherwise don’ t bother with this book.
