Why is it they cannot find any American actress to play the daughter? Her "English, Australian, South African" accent comes through in EVERY scene. Either that or she has such a "bad" regional American accent she does not know how to cover it up. For true transparency, I have the WORST NY/LI accent, but I am not portraying a Mid-Western privileged white daughter of a high profile politician. Why can't we have an actual American actress in this part?

Completely ruined the carefree environment of the movie ...destroyed the vibe...and they must have known it going in since they chose not to use the characters from the original screen play, DON'T just STEAL the title ....name it something else .this is NOT league of their own ...why remake something golden and completely destroy it from the foundation up?...my opinion this may have been satisfactory , but calling it League of their own....is not a compliment to the movie OR the stars that made the original it GREAT....series beyond disappointing.. had so much potential.....

This movie was awful. Too many liberties with a too soon deceased BELOVED former princess. Kristen Stewart is an excellent actress but this film boxed her into two moods; angry and sullen. She modeled all the wardrobe, but without showing the affects or existence of the paparazzi. Considering the paparazzi chased her into her death; a little lacking, no? It dangerously focused on Diana’s mental health, but restricted it to a singular weekend, based on the writers’ and director’s own imaginings. With such a rich storyline this film was absurdly myopic without any breadth or depth. Such a shame, sorely disappointed.
