Schlock horror. As if the real story were not dramatic or horrific enough this tries too hard to be Kubricesque. Trying to be edited and constructed like the most extreme of either Luther or Sherlock. A missed opportunity to expose the horrific treatment of women and children in the cultish version of the Catholic church. I'm dissatisfied and disappointed with this treatment.
