Oh my god. I went into Hooked knowing nothing about it—just that the cover caught my eye—and I’m so glad I did. This book completely blew me away! Emily McIntire’s writing is intense, emotional, and absolutely intoxicating. Once the story clicked, I couldn’t believe how brilliantly twisted and beautifully done it was. Each character feels so raw and real, and their stories are packed with emotion and depth. The way Emily reimagined this tale is nothing short of genius—it’s dark, gripping, and so well thought out. It brings out so many feelings, and I found myself completely immersed in the world she created. The hardcover just arrived, and it’s stunning—I’ve been staring at it nonstop! Hooked has become such a comfort book for me, and I’m so grateful to Emily for creating something this incredible. If you haven’t read it yet, you need to. (P.S I’ve almost finished scarred and it’s equally as intoxicating!! Definitely recommend the series)
