Overall, this movie is a true depiction on how human's behaviour, mind, political movement and attitude towards our home (earth). Just like kate and Dr. mandall said in the movie, we (the working,proletariat people) have no control whatsoevef to take action except for voicing out our voices. On the contrary, the bourgeousie / rich people with their greediness kept exploiting our mother nature event it it last drops of apocalypde just for the sake of wealth, perfectly illustrate through 'BASH corporation'. As a muslim individual, my islamic perspective is we can't reject the truth or even run from "the end" because eventually the beginning will end its chapter just like we believe in the unseen matter: Allah's Knowledge, Devil (jinn), Angels, Heaven & Hell, Judgement Day, Fate & Human's spirit. Just like illustrated in the movie, even when the BASH succeed in escaping the apocalypse, they get eaten anyway because there was another creature that resides om the earth that is not suitable for them to live together. Contradict to the Dr. and kate who spend the last hour and minute if the 'Final Moment'. When I watch this film, I relate the theme with religion, comprehend that human existed in two types: In denial people & Acceptance people. Some of them create chaos upon knowing such news.. why? cause they adore their worldly matters over their deeds, so they are "UNPREPARED" even worse they will "NOT PREPARED" to leave their wealth, world, lavishness. Which later on corrupting their character when it reach to their qalb (heart).
