Stellar cast from top to bottom. Excellent dialogue. Just a damn fine film. If you liked this one then check out Fail Safe and The Bedford Incident.

It started slow, but I thought the movie really picked up when it focused on the interplay between Lauren & Morgan. Kind of a poor man’s Agent Starling & Hannibal Lector interplay. I thought there were a few nice twist as the movie moved toward the finish. Yeah, a lot of holes but a fun little movie to watch. Especially liked Lilly Collins. I’ve seen her in two movies now and she’s played interesting characters in good off best movies like this one.

Interesting take on a Super Hero. Especially liked the twist with the character played by Charlize Theron. Kinda suspected something was up with her & Hancock but didn’t see that one coming. Fine performances from Smith & Bateman & Theron(who by the way is as pretty as ever…..think she was 31 when she did this movie). Great special effects. Just a fun and entertaining film to watch.

A great movie about a great historical time in the world. As I approach my 69th birthday, and I see movies like this, I still find it hard to comprehend how Nazi Germany could perpetuate such atrocities, and, more importantly, how they were able to get away with it. Top rate performances by Helen Mirren and Ryan Reynolds.

There’s 2 hours and 42 minutes I’ll never get back. I couldn’t figure out who you were supposed to be pulling for, Troy or the Geeks. There was Spartacus then there were all these Spartacus wanna bes. I pray there is no sequel to this jumbled mess of a movie.

Wow, what a great movie. Holly Hunter is a real stud. Some really intense scenes such as Darcy with Wes, and when Darcy finds out her friend had an affair with her son, and when Darcy confronts Mark. Holly should have, at the very least, been considered for a Best Actress academy award.

I was getting a little impatient with this movie until the wonderful twist when Adaline meets Ellis’ father(Harrison Ford). That made it a lot more interesting. Loved the Adaline character played wonderfully by Blake Lively. Harrison Ford good as always. Ellen Burnstyn great in her role(I’ve always been a fan of hers). I would have liked it better if somewhere near the end she and Ellis’ Dad would have had a great heart to heart about their time together. Enjoy movies such as this about people who are different in some way such as Harvey & Being There & Forrest Gump & Benjamin Button.

I give the series 2 stars at best. I would give 5 stars for Melissa Barrera’s performance as Liv. Way too many flashbacks. And the guy who played her boyfriend should not give up his day job because he sucks as an actor. In fact, to call him an actor would be an insult to true actors. This series would have been so much better if it had just focused on her struggle to survive. The first four episodes were on a good track. The series went completely off the rails in episode 5(don’t waste your time watching episode 5). The final episode was a little bit back on track but the ending left a lot to be desired. Amazed at the number of 5 star reviews. Have you folks ever seen a true 5 star movie?

Just a fine film with exceptional performances by two wonderful actors.

A fine film. Cate Blanchett her usual great performance. Such mixed emotions about her character Jasmine. Imagine being on top of the world(even though it’s all fake), then losing it all. She’s such a phony highbrow on the one hand, but you can’t help to feel bad for her especially at the end of the movie. You wonder what happens to her from that point on. Really liked Sally Hawkins character. Andrew Dice Clay gave a nice performance. Finally, just another great story by Woody Allen, whom I believe, despite all the drama in his life, is still one of the best of all time at his craft. I have just about all of his films in my collection. His work is smart, funny and realistic depictions of how life works.
