Phenomenal show! Undoubtedly one of the best Netflix has in this year. Suitable for those who like magic, fantasy and dark atmosphere. It may have a slow pace at first but it's very hard to lose interest since Tom Sturridge did an awesome job as the main character. Throughout the show, I have been offered meaningful lessons regarding humanity, all of which will stay in my head for a while. I haven't seen Neil Gaiman’s original ‘The Sandman’ comic so I don't know if the live action version sticks with it or not. The only thing I can say is that even though I haven't read it, I still understand and keep up with the plot. Not only that, the executive producers had cast very suitable actors and actresses for the roles. They all give a very convincing performance (especially Gwendolyn Christie in ‘Lucifer Morningstar’, Boyd Holbrook in ‘The Corinthian’ and Mason Alexander Park in ‘Desire’) That being said, ‘The Sandman’ (2022) should be your first choice to watch this autumn.
