I couldn’t fathom leaving more than just a single star review. This show is cringe worthy at best. Phil tries food and always makes this dopey wide eyed grin of sorts - lips shriveled up in a pucker and this look on his face that resembles a baby taking a poo and being proud and bashful about it at she same time. He just reminds me of wolf in sheep’s clothing which implies his intention with other people is something dark and predatory. I just get goose bumps in my discomfort. The humor of the show seems boring and old. I don’t enjoy the underhanded comments he makes to the people he meets - very disrespectful of different but beautiful cultures. I watched plenty of episodes until I was disgusted enough to drop it. The expressions alone that he makes when trying food is weird, not funny, and uncomfortable. Don’t waste your time unless you want to watch a train wreck that causes you to cringe repeatedly.
