Semma mokka if you read this after reading PS by amarar Kalki. Sorry Sandilyan fans - but I found this book full of misogyny, toxic masculinity. The plot was so repetitive- hero gets out of incredible situations by assigning different tasks to his friends and avaru vayilaya vada suduvaru. His friends keep questioning his process despite being with him through exactly similar situations. I am not kidding about the misogyny. One of the female lead states that “veetil adangi iruppadhe” good for women and makes them powerful. “Barf”. The other female lead is introduced with promise of sword wielding skills and archery but focus is only on her unparalleled beauty. I do have to add - the only interesting parts were descriptions of ancient warships and nautical advancement of the ancient Tamizhians. Pass if you are looking to read this after getting introduced to historical fiction by the unparalleled amarar Kalki.
